this american life: going big
i recently listened to a "this american life" podcast titled "going big." there was the most hilarious section about a musician, david berkeley, who is hired by a desperate boyfriend to help him get his girl back. the story is fantastic and funny. the excerpt is below. it is worth 15 minutes of your time!

Aw, I was hoping for drama, like... she stands up at the end and says the reason they broke up was because he cheated on her. And then David Berkeley feels deceived and smashes his guitar.
well, i certainly loved the moments when he's looking each of them in the eye and it's totally awkward.
certainly a smashed guitar would've added something :)
